About the Role
PHD Architects is seeking a highly organized and technically driven Project Manager to lead complex healthcare architecture projects. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative studio environment and enjoys guiding projects from concept through completion while ensuring clarity, precision, and strong coordination with clients, consultants, and internal teams.
Our firm specializes in healthcare and institutional environments that directly impact communities. As a Project Manager, you will play a key role in delivering projects that improve the functionality and experience of hospitals and medical facilities.
Key Responsibilities
Manage hospital architecture projects from concept through construction completion
Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets using Monograph
Coordinate daily with internal teams, consultants, and clients
Oversee integration of consultant drawings and technical documentation
Lead project meetings, milestone reviews, and coordination sessions
Ensure projects meet regulatory requirements, timelines, and quality standards
Guide stakeholders through design decisions that improve project outcomes
Qualifications
Professional degree in Architecture or related field
Experience managing complex institutional or healthcare architecture projects
Direct experience with HCAI/OSHPD requirements (required)
Strong organizational and project leadership skills
Ability to coordinate consultants, clients, and regulatory agencies
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Collaborative mindset and strong attention to detail
