Cyber Knife
This is 1200 sqft suite with Accuracy Stereotactic Radio Surgery, Radiotherapy System. The Cyber Knife System consists of the Treatment Planning System (TPS) and Treatment Delivery System (TDS).
The TPS software provides the user with two methods of creating treatment plans. One is forward planning, which given beam directions and dose per beam, calculates the dose distribution in the target and surrounding tissues. The other method is inverse planning, in which the user sets desired constraints on the target (such as maximum dose) and the TPS then searches the constraints and minimizes the total radiation delivered.
